Payment and Refund Policies Payment Policies • Prospective students are required to pay a registration fee when they submit their application in order to hold a place in the next scheduled intake. If, for any reason, the applicant cannot be accepted, the fee will be refunded in full. • Tuition payments for any programme are due and payable before the commencement of the programme. • Fees received are placed in a Public Trust Account and are not accessed until the course commences. A relevant proportion of the fees paid will remain in that account until the course is completed, to ensure pro-rata refunds are available for any eligible students.
Refund Policy • International students may withdraw from the course within 10 working of the course commencement. Students are entitled to receive a full refund, less a deduction for costs incurred by the Institute of not more than 25% of the course costs. • Domestic students may withdraw from the course within 8 working of the course commencement. Students are entitled to receive a full refund, less a deduction for costs incurred by the Institute of not more than 10% of the course costs or $500.00, whichever is the lesser. • Students who withdraw after the 11th day of the course commencement are not entitled to a refund, except on compassionate grounds (e.g. in the case of a death or serious illness of a family member) which will be at the discretion of the Director.
• No refunds will be made:
• Any dispute concerning a student refund shall be dealt with under the Institute’s Complaints and Appeals Policy.
• If the Institute cancels any course prior to commencement, enrolled students are entitled to a full refund or transfer of funds to a future course.
